Leicester’s favourite restaurant is ‘very London’, with an ever-buzzing atmosphere matching its up-beat menus. Housed in a former case factory, the decor is of the modern conversion variety, with plenty of light and excellent views from over-sized windows. Cooking is competent and excellent value – haddock & leek ravioli and salmon fish cakes are favourites among the generous portions – whilst wines have a tendency to up the bill. Friendly staff add to the relaxed ambience.
